The XYZ brand wines constitute modern styles of Hunter Valley Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz. New Generation wines.

2023, from the outset had everything going for it. Low crops, an event free growing and ripening period, coupled with warm and rain free ripening weather in December and January, yielded exceptional Shiraz fruit. Fantastic colour and flavour across the board.

Sourced from the ‘Lochleven’ vineyard in Pokolbin.

A bright dark Crimson colour, aromas of dark fruits, dried plums and blueberry jam. The French oak adds spice and complexity. The tannins are silky and fine with an impressive length of flavour for an entry level wine, the end result of a great vintage.

Medium to long term. 10+ years.

Flavoursome Beef and Lamb dishes. Hard cheeses.
