2023 was back to good Hunter Valley vintage normality with warm and dry growing and more importantly, harvest period. A trend in most wine regions across Australia, including here is the Hunter is earlier harvests with Chardonnay grapes being harvested in late January.

Chardonnay grapes were harvested from the ‘Roche Estate’ vineyard in Pokolbin and the Two Rivers vineyard in the Upper Hunter.

Stone-fruit aromas of nectarine, white peach and yellow peach. Oak influence is minor and in balance with the fruit profile. There is fabulous fruit purity and harmonious acidity that gives the wine great drive on the finish.
