2006 ‘Alexander Munro’ Shiraz – Aged Release
‘Alexander Munro’ Shiraz is our flagship wine and made from the best parcel of shiraz fruit we receive each year.
2007 ‘Alexander Munro’ Shiraz – Aged Release
2007 has proven itself as a great Hunter Valley shiraz vintage. Very low yields following on from the very hot 2006 vintage, ripened easily with only minor storm activity towards harvest. As a whole, 2007 vintage Hunter shirazes have an inherent completeness about them making them very approachable upon release, but also have the structure to reward cellaring.
2013 ‘Old Vine’ Shiraz
Only two vintages of ’Old Vine’ Shiraz have been released. 2006 and now 2013.Only two vintages of ’Old Vine’ Shiraz have been released. 2006 and now 2013.
2014 ‘Black’ Shiraz
BLACK was originally meant to be a one-off commemorative wine, the thinking being 2011 was a fantastic Shiraz vintage which coincided with our 20th release. 2014 came along and made us reconsider. 2014 just had to produce a BLACK.
2014 ‘indie’ Shiraz Marsanne
‘Indie’ is the label where we release wines that are not what you would say ‘mainstream’ for the Hunter Valley.
This Shiraz from our ‘Vintner’ range is usually a NSW regional blend that features the cool climate Hilltops G.I. fruit, with 2005 the first vintage released.
2015 ‘indie’ Pinot Noir
Although we have made small amounts of Pinot Noir from the ‘Lochleven’ Vineyard to blend with Shiraz, this is the first 100% Pinot Noir we have made and released.
2015 ‘XYZ’ Shiraz
The XYZ brand wines constitute modern styles of Hunter Valley Chardonnay and Shiraz. New Generation wines. 2015 was a ‘difficult’ vintage. Our oldest and most reliable vineyard sources held up well and much of the fruit was de-classified into lower price point wines. We are delighted with the results of what we have.
